From this website you can:

1. Gather information on having children and Natural Family Planning.

2. Learn what the Catholic Church holds to be true about marriage as an indisoluable scacrament for life.

3. How to promote and defend marriage as a union between one man and one woman.

If you are planning to get married, the first thing you need to do is contact a priest. Cannon Law, universal Church law, requires that a couple contact a priest for preparation for the sacrament of marriage four (4) months before the planned wedding date. The diocese of Winona, however, has a particular law asking that couples contact a priest at least six (6) months before the planned wedding date.

Before you contact the pastor of St. Rose Parish for your wedding plans, please watch the video prior to your visit. You will see what is expected of couples preparing for marriage in this video. Weddings celebrations at St. Rose of Lima parish will be identical to what you see in this video as far as songs, prayers, dress, attire, signs and symbols are concerned.
